The Boulevard One General Development Plan (GDP) has been approved by the City of Denver. The GDP provides a framework for large or phased projects, including land use, transportation, storm water drainage, utilities and open space. Click here to see the final version of the approved GDP document.
The neighborhood will now be zoned for the land uses in the GDP. Zoning is being discussed by several LRA committees. Please visit lowryredevelopment.org/meetings for a schedule of public meetings.
Pavement Removal & Recycling
The Lowry Redevelopment Authority (LRA) began a pavement recycling program at Boulevard One in April. There are about 24 acres of roads, parking lots, tennis courts and tarmac on the site. Material is currently being stockpiled south of First Avenue near Oneida Court. About 54,000 tons will be recycled near Lowry Boulevard and reused as road base and parks materials. More than 16 tons have been recycled to date. A small auxiliary building was also demolished this spring.
The LRA plans to sell lots to single-family homebuilders late this year. Homebuilding at Boulevard One would begin shortly thereafter, with the first move-ins slated for spring 2014. Interested homebuyers should join our interest list at boulevardonelowry.com. Interest lists will be shared with homebuilders when they are under contract.
