September 24, 2013
Mayor Michael B. Hancock has appointed Lindy Eichenbaum Lent to the Lowry Redevelopment Authority (LRA) board of directors.
Eichenbaum Lent has served as the executive director of the Civic Center Conservancy since 2009, leading public-private partnerships to revitalize Denver’s Civic Center Park. Prior to that, she served as director of communications for Mayor John Hickenlooper and for the Democratic National Convention in 2007. She is currently a member of the University of Colorado Cancer Center Fund board of directors, the Colorado Women’s Fund and the American Jewish Committee/Colorado Chapter. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Stanford University and a master’s in journalism from Northwestern University.
In addition, Cathy Gale has joined the LRA staff as general counsel. With more than 30 years of real estate, land use and public-private deal experience, Gale has worked on some of the largest and most complex real estate projects in Colorado. As a shareholder with Brownstein Farber Hyatt Schreck from 2007-13, she focused on all aspects of real estate development, with an emphasis in acquisitions and dispositions, land use and public-private partnerships.
Prior to joining Brownstein, Gale served as counsel for the City of Denver on the transfer of the Winter Park Ski Area, the redevelopment of the former Stapleton Airport and the land acquisition for the 45 square miles for Denver International Airport.
